We are seeking a dedicated freelance mathematics teacher to join our Business Foundations Program, starting in September 2025. The Feststellungsprüfung is an essential examination for many international students aiming to enter the German university system, and your role will be crucial for their preparation. Passing this examination grants international students the qualification necessary to study in Germany, with direct access to KLU’s bachelor’s program.

Your Responsibilities

Delivering mathematics lessons at the high school level in preparation for the Feststellungsprüfung: You will teach 4 to 8 lessons per week, spread over two to four days from September to May of the following year. Each lesson is 45 minutes long.
Assigning homework; conducting interim tests and mock exams.
All classes are conducted in English on our campus in Hamburg (no online teaching).

Your qualifications

A degree in mathematics or a completed teacher training program (e.g., Staatsexamen)
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong teaching skills; prior teaching experience at the high school level is a plus
Open-mindedness and a service-oriented attitude

Competitive salary: Earn up to €75 per lesson (45 minutes), based on your qualifications. Travel expenses will be reimbursed, and free parking is available.
Flexible hours: Choose to teach the full course (240 hours/8 lessons per week) or share the hours with a tutor, organized by us.
